Yule or Yuletide (Yule time) for this customary festival, observed by historic Germanic people. Connected for celebrating this Wild Hunt ritual. God Odin and pagan Anglo-Saxon Mōdraniht. This later underwent Christianised reformulation, resulting in term: Christmastide. Celebrated for midwinter feast and yule with pine log burned on open fire.

Ironically, our earth being closest towards our sun during winter but being close tilts earth's axis. Leaving our northern hemisphere cold with reduced daylight hours.

Love thy Mediterranean for this fact that Winter is over in one minute, and almond blossom arrives in January.

Mars has closer planet Earth characteristics. Having fall, Winter, Summer and Spring, North Pole and South Pole with mountains and much ice. Neither anyone shall live on Venus nor shall live on Jupiter.

| Frozen vegetable patch another sore sight for my Gardner's very eyes. Although wise using my Greenhouse during winter. Thy always keep warm in my heated Garden Shed with some brew from my thermos flask.

Being a summer born grrl, I loathe winter, although: 13 Days of Pagan Solstice On the first day of Solstice the Goddess sent to me, some healing to set me free. On the second day of Solstice, gifts from my love. On the third day, a helping dream. On the fourth day, a branch of evergreen. On the fifth day, joyous songs. On the sixth day, greetings from my neighbour. On the seventh day, magick for the year. On the eighth day, fine conversation. On the ninth day, nice pearls of wisdom. On the tenth day, candles for the lighting. On the eleventh day, deep contemplation. On the twelfth day, showers of abundance. On the thirteenth day, a grand celebration.
