Summer Sizzles at Last

Surprisingly, still warm here for this time in year.

Have returned since having this late breakfast from my local café and remains bathed in glorious sunshine.

Summer our annual permission slip for being lazy. Doing nothing and have this count for something. Laying in grass and counting stars. Sitting on some branch and studying clouds.

From all these lovely tokens September days are here; with Summer's best weather and Autumn's best cheer.

Nothing more memorable than smell. One scent can be unexpected, momentary and fleeting.
Yet, conjure up my childhood Summer; beside this lake below these mountains.
